Britons Urged Not to Celebrate Christmas to Promote Inclusivity

Too many people feel excluded from Christmas celebrations because of their own faith – or lack thereof – so the traditional Christian season should be minimised, according to a UK-based diversity lobby group.

According to Breitbart News, the call comes after statistics revealed that less than half of the population in England and Wales described themselves as Christian in the 2021 census, implying that Christianity is now a minority religion.

According to Watch This Sp_ce, a self-described diversity and inclusion consultancy, both atheism and Islam are making significant gains as more people reportedly feel left out as a “heavy emphasis on celebrating the birth of Jesus” can exclude others.

According to CYMRU Online, the group claims that beginning in November, decorations in town centres, advertising on our televisions, and constant emails from retailers all combine to imply that everyone will be celebrating on December 25, when evidence suggests that is not the case.

They claim that many people feel excluded and left out of the celebrations, while their own religious or spiritual festival is ignored and the pressure to spend large sums of money for “no real reason” is reinforced.

The group wants a new festive season to be implemented instead of the old.

The European Commission also issued an internal document advising bureaucrats to avoid terms like “Christmas time” in order to be more “inclusive” and spare the feelings of anyone offended by Christians celebrating the birth of their saviour, Jesus Christ.
