REPORT: Post-Lockdowns Turned ‘White’ Working Class Boys to ‘Biggest Losers’ in Education

Following two years of on-again, off-again Wuhan virus lockdowns, white working-class boys are expected to be the biggest losers in education, with one expert predicting that this year’s state exam results will show the demographic falling even further behind when it comes to university admissions.

“We need to recognise that white working-class boys now suffer some of the lowest university participation rates compared with any other groups,” social mobility professor Lee Elliot Major said.

According to a report in The Times, things are likely to get worse, with the highly competitive post-lockdown rush for university places likely to see disadvantaged young white boys fall even further behind the pack as the government battles to stop the coronavirus era’s rapid grade inflation.

While white boys had been the least likely to attend university at all since 2007, they also became the least likely to attend the country’s most elite institutions in the 2020-2021 academic year, with only 10% enrolling in Britain’s top universities that year.

This is compared to 10% of black students, 13% of mixed-race students, 15% of Asian students, and 40% of Chinese students.

According to one Oxford University professor, “white working-class young males are now the truly disadvantaged group in Britain.”

“What we’re seeing is a terrible waste of talent on a massive scale,” he added. “This heinous situation sows the seeds of social unrest.”

Amidst this massive societal shift in opportunity, which now sees Britain’s poorest white children systematically disadvantaged not only in education but also in other areas, many of the United Kingdom’s educational institutions are still very much focused on addressing supposed “institutional racism” and “white privilege.”

One publicly funded “anti-racism” course even claims that cancel culture has “benefits” for “racial/social justice,” claiming that it holds “people or entities” “accountable for immoral or unacceptable behaviour.”

“We still live in a racist society,” says the course, adding that “white people have a responsibility to solve the problem of racism.”
