Reform UK targets Labour migration plans in new election strategy

Reform UK will now fight Labour on immigration and the economy rather than just the Conservatives.

In front of a general election that is virtually definitely going to occur this year, party leader Richard Tice will lay out the party’s platform at a press conference this Wednesday.

It is anticipated that Mr. Tice will assert that there is minimal distinction between the parties of Sir Keir Starmer and Rishi Sunak.

He will say that the leader of the Labour Party is “soft” on immigration and that his economic policies will “bankrupt” the country.

A Reform UK source told The Times: “We feel the Tory party is a smoking wreck in shallow water, there is no point in continuing to target them exclusively. We will target Labour.”

The next general election must occur before January 2025, and Reform UK has promised to field candidates for 632 seats.

The party, which is already polling as high as 10%, is reportedly targeting Tory supporters who supported Boris Johnson in 2019 and are pro-Brexit.

Nigel Farage led Reform UK when it was known as the Brexit Party. The former leader of UKIP may make a political comeback, according to rumours stoked by the impending news conference.
