Braverman gives chilling warning to Pro-Palestine protesters glorifying terrorism in London rally

Home Secretary Suella Braverman last night warned pro-Palestine protesters who glorified terror at a mass rally in London: “The police are coming for you.”

She hit out following the march on Saturday during which two women sported pictures of paragliders on their jackets.

It is thought the image was intended to depict Hamas terrorists who flew into Israel to take part in the slaughter of 1,300 civilians.

Dave Rich, from the Community Security Trust, which helps protect Jewish families, called it “a blatant example of support for, and glorification of, terrorism”.

He said: “We call on anybody who can identify them to pass that information to the police.”

Cops were hunting the women, who had attached the symbols to the back of their red and black jackets.

Mrs Braverman, meanwhile, thanked the police who she said had worked “in difficult circumstances” to manage the tens of thousands of protesters in London.

She said: “Numerous arrests were made as a result of pockets of disorder, violence and hate.

“To those who saw fit to promote genocide, glorify terrorism and mock the murder of Jewish people, including women and babies, the police are coming for you.”

Fifteen people were charged with offences including possessing a knife, intentionally causing racially aggravated harassment and failing to remove a face covering.

The Met said it was reviewing footage from the protest to pinpoint other crimes.

A spokesman said: “There is no place for hate in London and we will use the law to ensure anyone who engages in such behaviour is held to account.”
