Urgent: Protein shake that’s ‘unsafe to consume’ pulled from supermarket shelves – WARNING!

After being declared “unsafe to consume,” Home Bargains has issued a product recall order for their Sci-Mx Nutrition Ultra Muscle flavoured shakes.

The product contains high levels of caffeine and should not be digested.

Too much caffeine can cause anxiety, sleeplessness, agitation, palpitations, diarrhoea and restlessness.

The Sci-Mx Nutrition Ultra Muscle strawberry taste comes in a 1.5kg bag with the batch identifier W110429 and an expiration date of March 2025.

Individuals with a mental health problem who eat too much caffeine may develop exacerbated psychosis and require more medicine, according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA).

Caffeine can impair the effectiveness of antipsychotic medicines.

Caffeine should be consumed in moderation by children and anyone who are caffeine sensitive, according to the food authority.

Pregnant and breast-feeding women are advised not to have more than 200mg of caffeine over the course of a day.

Customers have been urged not to drink the product if they have purchased it.

They can also receive a full refund by contacting the Sci-Mx customer careline.

The team can be reached on email at [email protected] and will arrange a full refund.
