Reform UK will now fight Labour on immigration and the economy rather than just the Conservatives. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In front of a general election that is virtually definitely going to occur this year, party leader Richard Tice will lay out the party’s platform at a press conference this Wednesday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is anticipated that Mr. Tice will assert that there is minimal distinction between the parties of Sir Keir Starmer and Rishi Sunak. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He will say that the leader of the Labour Party is “soft” on immigration and that his economic policies will “bankrupt” the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A Reform UK source told The Times: “We feel the Tory party is a smoking wreck in shallow water, there is no point in continuing to target them exclusively. We will target Labour.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The next general election must occur before January 2025, and Reform UK has promised to field candidates for 632 seats. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The party, which is already polling as high as 10%, is reportedly targeting Tory supporters who supported Boris Johnson in 2019 and are pro-Brexit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
