Millions of Sky Mobile subscribers will soon be able to use their smartphones while commuting beneath London’s streets thanks to a major free boost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The UK network has officially confirmed that it is finally offering 4G and 5G data connectivity on the Tube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Other networks, such as EE, Three, and Vodafone, have been offering it for a time, and now Sky subscribers will be able to blissfully stream films, post on Instagram, and send emails while speeding through the maze of tunnels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sky claims it is starting to roll out mobile data in certain areas, including Canning Town and Westminster station, as well as Holland Park and Queensway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here’s the full list of places you’ll be able to use your phone from this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jubilee Line<\/strong> – between Canning Town and Westminster station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Northern Line<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 from Archway to Euston, Belsize Park to Euston, and between Goodge Street and Tottenham Court Road station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Central Line<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 from Holland Park to Queensway and between Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Road<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sky Mobile subscribers may also expect expanded 4G and 5G network coverage on the London Underground beginning next year, with broadband access set to extend on lines such as the Victoria, Elizabeth, Northern, and Central lines.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Millions of Sky Mobile subscribers will soon be able to use their smartphones while commuting beneath London’s streets thanks to a major free boost.
