{"id":5294,"date":"2023-11-01T08:18:44","date_gmt":"2023-11-01T08:18:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/savebritain.org\/?p=5294"},"modified":"2023-11-01T08:18:47","modified_gmt":"2023-11-01T08:18:47","slug":"watch-london-police-caught-tearing-down-posters-of-israeli-children-kidnapped-by-hamas-militants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/savebritain.org\/watch-london-police-caught-tearing-down-posters-of-israeli-children-kidnapped-by-hamas-militants\/","title":{"rendered":"WATCH: London Police caught tearing down posters of Israeli children kidnapped by Hamas militants"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Metropolitan Police in London provoked controversy after officers were recorded ripping down posters of Israeli children kidnapped by Hamas militants on October 7th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two police officers were recorded ripping down leaflets for stolen Israeli children that were displayed outside the Cullimore Chemist in Edgware, North London, which has a substantial Jewish community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Met stated that it was done to &#8220;prevent issues from escalating&#8221; and &#8220;avoid community tension.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the London police, the fliers were placed precisely at that site in reaction to comments made online by a member of the chemist&#8217;s staff, who allegedly referred to Israel and its military as &#8220;filthy animals.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">The absolute state of London.<br><br>Met police tearing down posters of the Israelis kidnapped by Hamas so as not to &quot;flare racial tensions&quot;?
