The BBC has come under heavy scrutiny as its own reporters have been accused of supporting the Palestinian terror group Hamas in the wake of deadly assaults on Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Britain\u2019s publicly-funded broadcaster said that it has launched an \u201curgent review\u201d as several reporters for BBC News Arabic \u2014 which is funded by the UK public through the television licence fee \u2014 appeared to praise murderous Hamas terrorists as freedom fighters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For instance,\u00a0according\u00a0to\u00a0The Telegraph<\/em>, BBC Arabic correspondent Sally Nabil liked a post on X (formerly Twitter) that praised \u201cthe Palestinian resistance taking an initiative and surprises the Israeli occupier with an operation of quality\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She also liked a comment on a video of a truck loaded with kidnapped civilians that described \u201cA proud scene\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Another example saw\u00a0programmes editor at BBC Arabic Nada Abdelsamad repost a video depicting Israelis hiding from Hamas with the caption: \u201cSettlers hiding inside a tin container in fear of the Palestinian resistance warriors\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The post also featured the Qur\u2019an reference hashtag \u201cpromise of the hereafter\u201d, which has been\u00a0associated\u00a0with the complete destruction of Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Responding to the apparent breaches of the BBC\u2019s impartiality guidelines, a spokesman for the Camera Arabic campaign group which monitors news coverage of Israel said:\u00a0\u201cThese revelations about BBC Arabic employees go hand in hand with the outlet\u2019s ongoing conduct during the war.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n “The BBC has repeatedly whitewashed the practice of targeting Jewish civilians in Israel even before the current escalation.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThey constantly claim that they apply the same editorial standards of accuracy and impartiality to their services in all languages, including those with which BBC management is not familiar and can\u2019t oversee properly, such as Arabic.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n “But these lapses do not occur anywhere near as frequently in their English language content, so that can\u2019t be taken seriously.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The BBC has announced that it will investigate the apparent prejudice of some of its Middle Eastern correspondents, saying, “We are urgently investigating this matter.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n “We take complaints of violations of our editorial and social media guidelines very seriously, and if and when we find them, we will take action, including disciplinary action.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n The scandal comes after the BBC was already under fire for refusing to designate Hamas terrorists as terrorists in order to maintain “impartiality” despite the fact that the British government has officially branded the Palestinian outfit as a terrorist organisation.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The BBC has come under heavy scrutiny as its own reporters have been accused of supporting the Palestinian terror group Hamas in the wake of deadly assaults on Israel.
