{"id":5023,"date":"2023-10-02T11:13:16","date_gmt":"2023-10-02T11:13:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/savebritain.org\/?p=5023"},"modified":"2023-10-02T11:13:19","modified_gmt":"2023-10-02T11:13:19","slug":"britains-royal-navy-urges-sailors-to-introduce-themselves-with-gender-pronouns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/savebritain.org\/britains-royal-navy-urges-sailors-to-introduce-themselves-with-gender-pronouns\/","title":{"rendered":"Britain\u2019s Royal Navy urges sailors to introduce themselves with gender pronouns"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/europe\/2023\/09\/30\/woke-wars-britains-royal-navy-tells-sailors-to-introduce-themselves-with-gender-pronouns\/#\"><\/a>Britain\u2019s Royal Navy has reportedly told its sailors that they should introduce themselves with gender pronouns before meetings in order to be more \u201cinclusive\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A \u201cTrans and Non-Binary Awareness\u201d guide,\u00a0seen\u00a0by\u00a0<em>The Telegraph<\/em>\u00a0newspaper, reportedly published on the Royal Navy\u2019s internal intranet has told staff:\u00a0\u201cIntroducing yourself with your pronouns at the start of meetings and interactions is a good way to be inclusive.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It goes on to state:&nbsp;\u201cSome people do not associate with gender binary and may use different pronouns like they\/them hers or neo-pronouns like ze\/hir\/hirs. You should use the pronoun that a person shares with you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Navy\u2019s guide on gender also featured a \u201ctrans umbrella\u201d to illustrate the different forms of gender expression, including \u201cpangender\u201d, \u201cgender neutral\u201d, and&nbsp;\u201ctwo-spirit\u201d, a phrase that has been used to describe the gender of some Native Americans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Former First Sea Lord of the British Royal Navy, Admiral Lord West said of the guidance: \u201cI am surprised that the Navy wishes to try and divide ship\u2019s companies by focusing on people\u2019s gender rather than seeing them as all of one company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis initiative seems to me confusing and doesn\u2019t help the cohesion and fighting ability of the navy I love.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to promulgating transgenderism, the Royal Navy told officers that sailors should be educated about the leftist ideological concepts of \u201cwhite privilege\u201d and \u201cintersectionality, stating that \u201cdifferent societal aspects (race, class, gender etc) of a person\u2019s identity combine to create a unique experience of disadvantage or discrimination\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Navy personnel were also told that&nbsp;\u201cif you are \u2018white\u2019, whatever situation you are in, it is almost always the case that the outcome has not been affected by your skin colour\u201d.<\/p>\n<!-- wpsso rrssb get buttons: buttons on archive option not enabled -->\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Britain\u2019s Royal Navy has reportedly told its sailors that they should introduce themselves with gender pronouns before meetings in order to be more \u201cinclusive\u201d.
