Historians have labelled a recently published children’s history book as an attempt to “brainwash” children with dubious claims that England’s famous Stonehenge monument was built when Britain was a “black country.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Nigerian-born British author Atinuke’s new illustrated children’s book, Brilliant Black British History, “Britain was a black country for more than 7,000 years before white people came, and during that time the most famous British monument, Stonehenge, was built.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The book goes on to claim that\u00a0\u201cBritain has been a mostly white country for a lot less time than it has been a mostly black country,\u201d\u00a0according<\/a>\u00a0to\u00a0The Telegraph<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
