Young British women, sometimes inebriated and in nakedness, are being utilised in social media video adverts by cruel people smugglers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Experts allege that the videos are being used to lure young boys to seek the services of criminal gangs and travel to Europe and the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Several of the profiles, which have hundreds of thousands of followers, were discovered on Instagram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Others show migrants using people smuggling routes by land and sea, in addition to the many videos of young ladies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A reliable source provided data obtained from a cyber contact who works on ‘machine learning algorithms’ and uncovered many accounts that he believes are “fronts for criminal people smuggling gangs.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another report stated that this was “an advertising campaign to predominantly North Africans seeking smuggled passage into Europe and Britain.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The social media advertising are identical to those used by smuggling gangs last year to persuade young male Albanians to fly to the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Those recordings showed young guys allegedly ‘enjoying the high life’ in London and other cities, accompanied by wads of cash and sports automobiles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Suella Braverman, the Home Secretary, criticised organised criminal gangs using social media to solicit business earlier this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Heartless people smugglers are using social media to promote their despicable services, charging people thousands of pounds to make the illegal journey into the UK on unsafe boats,” she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“They must not succeed,” she continued.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Home Secretary was speaking after the government announced that a number of social media companies would collaborate with UK law enforcement to combat people smuggling messages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
