Conservative MPs have slammed the Labour Party for taking money from Just Stop Oil supporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Labour Party is under increasing pressure to repay \u00a31.5 million in donations taken since 2014 from environmental activist Dale Vince, a supporter of Just Stop Oil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The acceptance of the money, according to the Conservative Party’s Deputy Chairman Lee Anderson, is a “slap in the face to hardworking Brits trying to get on with their lives.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, Tory MP Andrea Jenkyns stated that the public is “tired of road closures and disruptions,” adding, “Enough is enough.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr Anderson said: “Starmer’s been caught orange-handed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Every day that Labour takes money from Dale Vince another ambulance is delayed, a hospital appointment is missed, a grieving relative can’t get to a funeral which proves this is a slap in the face to hardworking Brits trying to get on with their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Slippery Starmer should apologise and stop taking cash from eco-loonies bringing Britain to a halt.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Over the weekend, Conservative Chairman Greg Hands wrote to his Labour opposite Anneliese Dodds demanding the party return donations from Mr Vince.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr Hands’s intervention came after Just Stop Oil activists disrupted the Gallagher Premiership rugby final at Twickenham on Saturday, days after a protest at the Chelsea Flower Show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In his letter, the party Chairman said: “Since 2014 the Labour Party have taken \u00a31.5million in donations from one of Extinction Rebellion and Just Stop Oil’s biggest donors, Dale Vince.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
