Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s UK base has been offered to Prince Andrew as the Royal Family looks to evict the Sussexes from Frogmore Cottage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Queen gave Meghan and Harry the five-bedroom Frogmore Cottage as a wedding gift in 2018. However, the couple has spent little time in the royal residence in the last three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
King Charles is trying to cut costs for the Royal Family, and this appears to be his latest attempt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“This eviction surely spells the end of Harry and Meghan’s time in the UK,” an insider said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“After being offered Frogmore Cottage last week, Andrew is resisting the idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“However, it demonstrates that Harry and Meghan are powerless to prevent the eviction.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before moving into the home they were given by Queen Elizabeth II, the Sussexes ordered \u00a32.4 million in renovations to the cottage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They stayed at Frogmore for less than a year before deciding to step down as working members of the Royal Family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meghan and Harry left the United Kingdom, first to Canada and then to California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
