Boris Johnson says he is ‘proud’ of delivering on his promises and backed his successor to ‘grab the torch and keep running’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Prime Minister said the British people are \u201cheroic\u201d and will get through the winter cost of living crisis before the country bounces back \u201cstrongly\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mr Johnson insisted that the UK has the funds to assist even higher earners, but that the majority of the assistance must go to those who need it the most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also stated that he plans to campaign to keep Ukrainian support united because President Zelensky is “keen for me to keep my hand in somehow.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Despite being forced to resign after dozens of colleagues turned on him, the premier insisted he is still committed to his party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But reflecting on his own record, Mr Johnson said he stuck to his promises during his three years in the job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI\u2019m proud of the things that we did,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
