UK Inks Deal to RETURN Criminals to PAKISTAN"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Priti Patel has agreed to return &#8220;foreign criminals and immigration offenders&#8221; from the United Kingdom to Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Wednesday, the Home Secretary met with Pakistan&#8217;s interior secretary, Yousaf Naseem Khokhar, and the country&#8217;s high commissioner to the UK, Moazzam Ahmad Khan, to sign the reciprocal agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I make no apology for removing dangerous foreign criminals and immigration offenders who have no right to remain in the UK,&#8221; Ms Patel said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe British public have quite rightly had enough of people abusing our laws and gaming the system so we can\u2019t remove them.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur new Borders Act will go further and help end the cycle of last-minute claims and appeals that can delay removals.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Official statistics show that Pakistan has the seventh highest number of foreign criminals in English and Welsh prisons.<\/p>\n<!-- wpsso rrssb get buttons: buttons on archive option not enabled -->\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Priti Patel has agreed to return &#8220;foreign criminals and immigration offenders&#8221; from the United Kingdom to Pakistan.
