Save Britain Asks: If there were an election tomorrow, who would you vote for?

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has only been in office for a little more than six weeks and has already reversed several major pledges made during his Tory leadership campaign.

Mr Sunak still has a 60-plus majority in the House of Commons thanks to former Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s general election victory three years ago, but he has demonstrated that he is not afraid to rip up commitments ranging from housing targets to wind farms.

“On the campaign pledges, we’re reviewing all of them and ensuring the right decisions are made at the right time,” said the Prime Minister’s press secretary.

During recent Prime Minister’s Questions sessions, Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer ripped into Mr Sunak’s leadership, exposing his flaws. According to one Labour source, Mr Sunak is a “directionless leader in an incredibly weak position.”

Meanwhile, a Liberal Democrat MP said that while many local voters, including former Conservatives, thought Mr Sunak was a more stable leader than Liz Truss, the Party was still in decline.

“The consensus is that he’s a continuity Tory,” he said. One local Tory member actually emailed to say that the party needs some time in opposition for the sake of the country.”

According to the latest YouGov/Times voting intention poll from December 6-7, the Conservative Party received 24% of the vote, while Labour received 48%, the Liberal Democrats received 9%, the Green Party received 6%, and Reform UK received 8%.

So, what are your thoughts? If there was an election tomorrow, who would you vote for?
