Meghan and Harry’s UK home offered to Prince Andrew as couple to be evicted by King Charles III

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s UK base has been offered to Prince Andrew as the Royal Family looks to evict the Sussexes from Frogmore Cottage.

The Queen gave Meghan and Harry the five-bedroom Frogmore Cottage as a wedding gift in 2018. However, the couple has spent little time in the royal residence in the last three years.

King Charles is trying to cut costs for the Royal Family, and this appears to be his latest attempt.

“This eviction surely spells the end of Harry and Meghan’s time in the UK,” an insider said.

“After being offered Frogmore Cottage last week, Andrew is resisting the idea.

“However, it demonstrates that Harry and Meghan are powerless to prevent the eviction.”

Before moving into the home they were given by Queen Elizabeth II, the Sussexes ordered £2.4 million in renovations to the cottage.

They stayed at Frogmore for less than a year before deciding to step down as working members of the Royal Family.

Meghan and Harry left the United Kingdom, first to Canada and then to California.

In a deal that included leasing Frogmore Cottage for “several years,” Prince Harry repaid the cost of the renovations to the UK taxpayer.
