Just Stop Oil Activist ADMITS He Would Be ‘Furious’ If Group Protests AFFECT Him

A Just Stop Oil activist has publicly acknowledged that if the group’s protest tactics disrupted him, he would be “furious.”

In an exclusive interview with GB News, activist Alex de Koning was asked whether the group can accept “responsibility” for the mass disruption caused by the group’s actions.

When asked about protests “hurting” people, he said, “I’m really sorry to anyone who has been caught up in this, and it’s terrible that this is happening.”

De Koning spoke after yet another day of Just Stop Oil protests, which saw activists scale bridges on the M25, causing massive traffic jams.

“We really care about people, and that’s why we’re fighting for the future of all life on Earth.”

Bev Turner pointed out the “irony” in characterising the actions as “compassionate,” saying it has left people “absolutely furious” because they have missed important events such as hospital appointments and funerals.

The activist stated: “This is terrible, I’d be furious too if I was caught up in that traffic, if I missed a funeral or an appointment.

“But the real question people have to be asking is: Why are people taking actions like this?”

Today, Just Stop Oil supporters continue protesting on the M25 for the fourth consecutive day. Surrey Police said officers are dealing with activists who climbed a gantry at Junction 8 of the UK’s busiest motorway.

The road has been closed in both directions while officers climb the gantry. Essex Police said they arrested a woman attempting to climb a gantry around 1.5 miles from Junction 28 clockwise.

Essex Police said there was a collision involving the police motorcyclist and two lorries during a rolling roadblock.

Chief Constable BJ Harrington warned it is “only a matter of time” before someone is killed during a Just Stop Oil protest.
