In Meghan We Trust! Democrats HOPE the Duchess of Sussex Will be the Next USA President in 2024

Democrats want Meghan Markle to run for President of the United States because their current politicians are viewed as too weak or failures, according to a new exclusive poll.

Based on the Democracy Institute/Express.co.uk tracker, the California-based Duchess of Sussex is the Democrats’ second most popular choice among women to run for President in 2024.

The majority of the commentators believe she will face a resurgent Donald Trump, who, according to poll results.

A source close to Donald Trump said, the former President expects Ms Obama to run for President, but experts believe she isn’t interested.

Surprisingly, Meghan Markle, who has not entered politics formally, is a clear second on 19 percent, far ahead of more established rivals.

She is ten points ahead of the increasingly unpopular Vice President Kamala Harris, who has a nine percent approval rating among Democrats after a string of gaffes, including her handling of the southern border crisis with Mexico.

Trump’s 2016 opponent, Hillary Clinton, has a 12 percent approval rating, while former Democrat favourite Senator Liz Warren has a 5 percent rating.

Ms Markle, who has been the subject of a social media trend called “Princess Henry” this week due to her marriage to Prince Harry, has hinted that she would like to run for President, making her the second actor to do so after Ronald Reagan from 1980 to 1988.

Patrick Basham, Director of the Democracy Institute, told in a recorded interview that Ms Markle was a candidate Democrats could “pin their hopes on.”

“While those with a sense of politics know she is a woke, progressive, left-liberal, we don’t know what she thinks about a wide range of issues. Most people don’t care about that.”

“Among Democrats, she is young, female, attractive, bi-racial, and she has a certain perzaz because of her celebrity status and all of that,” he continued.

“There’s nothing that makes them stand out like Markle does.”
