I’m A Celeb fans PLOT Conservative MP Hancock to do MORE TRIALS THAN EVER After Controversial Signing

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! managers may be overjoyed with the signing of Matt Hancock, but he will face more scrutiny than ever before.

Hancock, 44, who came under fire after breaking lockdown rules and having an affair with an employee, is the 12th celebrity to sign up for the ITV show.

He’ll appear as a latecomer alongside comedian and former Strictly Come Dancing star Seann Walsh, in true I’m A Celeb fashion.

Since learning that the Chester-born Conservative MP will be travelling to Australia for the show, he has been suspended from the Tory whip.

But that’s not all he has to worry about: fans of the classic ITV show have pledged to vote for Hancock to participate in the most Bushtucker Trials.

This could entail the MP sleeping with rats, maggots, fish guts, and cockroaches and eating kangaroo testicles, crocodile penis, and fish eyes.

“Following a conversation with Matt Hancock, I have considered the situation and believe this is a serious enough matter to warrant suspension of the whip with immediate effect,” Tory chief whip Simon Hart said shortly after the news broke.

Meanwhile, many people have criticised Matt’s proposed salary for appearing on the show, but a political ally of the disgraced MP has stated that he will donate a portion of it to charity.

“Matt will be making a donation to St Nicholas Hospice in Suffolk, and he will, of course, declare the amount he receives from the show to Parliament to ensure complete transparency, as normal,” the source said.
